Filters

Stations in Music API are grouped by filters and tags. You may think of filter as different type of tags. For example, this is the JSON structure of a filter

{
"id": "ERA",
"label": "Era",
"cover": "https://img.stingray.com/v3/8ceDRfUC4rucVfvSzoOM7ZLRZx5B4gq0OXA3UbJ2jkTb7oVxW8RPqGMvdCG4wwPWTwN2D6X8GZ73qgGxezilZg",
"childrenTags": []
}

These would be the tags associated with the Era filter

[
{
"id": "TODAY",
"label": "Today",
"childrenTags": []
},
{
"id": "2010S",
"label": "2010s",
"childrenTags": []
},
{
"id": "1990S",
"label": "1990s",
"childrenTags": []
},
...
]

These filter tags are used when creating browse views for the stations in Music API. See our documentation for in depth usage of these objects
