Station

Context

In the context of this API, A station is a collection of songs that have been selected by a person to match a specific theme or mood, from which listeners can create a playlist to enjoy a continuous stream of music that aligns with that particular vibe or genre. A user's access to specific stations is determined by the permissions encoded within their JSON Web Token (JWT).

Users can browse, search, like, play stations and can also skip songs within the station if your credentials permit it. More on this in Playing a Resource and Using User Profiles

Example

Every station has its name and description which are labels used to describe and give an idea of what the station is.

Finally, stations have two nested fields. Tags, to group and sort your stations and an optional one called Programmer which says who created that radio station or playlist.
